PAUL YANG, Founder of ConnectEd U Co. Ltd., the Global Internship Program, Global Leadership Program for Youths, Virtual Reality Japan, World Games Camp, and Student Accommodation Japan. Former Director of General Electric Real Estate “GERE” in Tokyo, Japan, Paul worked in the Risk Management Group, the Mergers and Acquisition Group and the Commercial Initiatives Group in Japan. Under former GE Capital, GERE was a global real estate company with over $80 billion in assets under management and offices in New York, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Seoul and Sydney in addition to other satellite offices which carried out principal investments and asset management. He left GERE in 2009 to embark on entrepreneurial activities as well as providing strategic and marketing advisory services to real estate companies, to operating companies with turn-around situations, and to global companies entering a new market.
Having attended Eaglebrook School in Massachusetts and subsequently Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University, a Masters of Engineering from the Civil Engineering School with concentration in Real Estate and Development from Cornell University and an MBA and Masters of Science in Finance from Boston College.
Paul is currently the main representative of Eaglebrook School, president of Phillips Exeter Academy's Alumni Association of Japan since 2011 as well as member of its Institutional Advancement team. Paul served on the Board of Hands On Tokyo (NPO) from 2011~2015, serving as its Board Chairman from 2014 thru 2015.
